Chun-Chao has initiated several workshops for children of different ages and adults in the North of England. He has been doing arts workshops in many different schools (in the area of Newcastle, Sunderland, Teeside and County Durham) and for the following organisations: Gateshead, Middlesbrough and Newcastle City Council, The Arts Council, Gem Arts, The Forge, Tyne & Wear Museums and the Chinese Arts Association, and have gained very positive responses. He has also worked with the schools and organisations to design the workshops to fit their demands, He also teach Chinese Painting in the Lifelong Learning Centre in the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland.

   His workshops included lanterns, Chinese landscape/flower painting, Chinese calligraphy, tradition and modern painting, puppets story telling/making, paper cuttings, sculptures, drawing, portrait painting, kite making and willow pattern etc.
