The Long Project

The Long Project (Long means dragon in Chinese), which was funded by Arts Council England's grant,

was led by Dr. Chiu and with artist Wei Wang, story teller Pascal Konyn. This education project,

involving 30 pupils from calss Year 5E at the West Jesmond Primary, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

is the first one in the North East Region to create a 20-metre long Chinese dragon that can be

used for the traditional dragon dance.
