This new project is based on the previous one but will be involving more schools.

 

Hundred Pupils from four Year 5 classes from different primary schools, two from Newcastle (Sacred Heart and Kenton Bar primary) and two from Gateshead (Birtley East and Grennside Primary) , have worked with me to design, decorate and created two 50 metre long Chinese Long (Long means dragon in Chinese) The two teams dance their dragon at the Culture 10 Press Launch of this year's world class festivals and events programme for the Norht East, greeting each other to celebrate the Chinese NEw Year, - Year of the Golden Rat - 2008.
