讓我的水彩畫告訴你 我的故事
Let the painting tell you the story.
The story begins…..

Chun-Chao always carries a watercolour set to create drawings or paintings. His travels around the world take him to England, Europe, Japan and Taiwan etc.

For him, to paint or draw the scenery helps him to observe it more closely. The time of day, the weather, his emotions, his expressions, and his feelings for the subjects or objects are all directly recorded in the pictures. It does not need a lot of extra description; the painting contains the entire story.

The paintings record anything that is interesting to Chun Chao. For example, a pot of tea/ coffee shared with friends or family, a dish of lovely food, a historic site/ building such as the Oxford Library, the Jedburgh Abbey, the Zen gardens in Kyoto, a mystical stone circle in Orkney. Wonderful scenery such as the St. Michael’s Mount, Newcastle Tynemouth, Edinburgh City etc.

Combining both Western and Chinese painting techniques and concepts, Chun-Chao uses his experiences and skills with the materials to create his artistic fantasy. A realistic sketch records the detail of the scenery and he then applies colourful paint. His line and colour patterns recreate the fantastic drama which exists in the subjects/ landscape.

So let the paintings take you through his journey.
